Supports the Interfacility Transport Team and Communications Center by collaborating by divisional leadership to facilitate attainment of innovation, teamwork, and service excellence. Assists in the facilitation of all staff functions and meetings. Contributes to oversight of the daily clinical operations in the department.
1. Serves as a clinical and operations resource for the transport team, communications center, department Director and senior Director. 2. Reviews employee time clock entries and approves time cards in Kronos. 3. Assists with new employee onboarding activities as outlined. 4. Collaborates with other team leads and participates in leadership meetings 5. Review and approve AP invoices in Image now program. 6. Participates in new employee candidate interview and hiring process. 7. Identifies opportunities to improve clinical processes through innovation, simplification, and increased efficiency. 8. Continues to serve as a transport nurse to maintain nursing skills and credibility with staff. 9. Other job functions as assigned.
1. Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. 2. Minimum of 3 years of Transport Team experience 3. License as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois required. 4. Kronos experience and time card approval status 5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 6. Highly motivated and creative with solid problem solving skills. 7. Ability to perform literature review and data collection. MS word and MS excel experience desired.
