  • Overview

    Senior Behavioral Research Coordinator: Coordinates multiple behavioral research studies.  Oversees the identification and recruitment of behavioral research study participants in compliance with study specifics.  Develops and documents protocols, informed consents, and other necessary documents for review by the study sponsor(s).  

    Responsibilities

    1. Coordinates multiple behavioral research studies.
    2. Oversees the identification and recruitment of behavioral study participants in compliance with study specifics.
    3. Develops and documents protocols, informed consents, and other necessary documents for review by the study sponsor(s).
    4. Collaborates in the design, development, implementation and tracking of studies.
    5. Prepares and maintains records and files to ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory agencies and sponsors.
    6. Provides training to staff and provides oversight of study finances.
    7. Prepares abstracts, articles, posters, etc. for various presentations. Collaborates with Principal Investigators (PIs) and other research staff in the development of manuscripts for publication.
    8. Acts as a liaison between Principal Investigators (PIs), study sponsors and applicable external agencies.
    9. Presents and promotes research studies at state and national meetings and/or conferences.
    10. Performs job functions adhering to service principles with customer service focus of innovation, service excellence and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to our patients, families, co-workers and others.

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
    2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral program or research study administration required, to include, at least 1 year as Behavioral Research Coordinator.
    3. Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral research principles.
    4. Strong oral and written communication with ability to work and communicate with diverse populations.
    5. Strong analytical/interpretation skills.
    6. Proven ability to make basic analysis and interpretation of data.
    7. Strong time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
    8. Possess professional demeanor and ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
    9. Experience and knowledge of word processing, database, spreadsheet and presentation applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
