  • Overview

    Behavioral Research Coordinator – Identifies and recruits behavioral research study participants in compliance with study specifics. Participates in the preparation of protocols, informed consents, and other necessary documents for review by the study sponsor(s).  

    Responsibilities

    1. Identifies and recruits behavioral study participants in compliance with study specifics.
    2. Participates in the preparation of protocols, informed consents, and other necessary documents for review by the study sponsor(s).
    3. Participates in the development, implementation and tracking of studies
    4. Collects appropriate information, samples, etc. from study participants in accordance to established project guidelines.
    5. Conducts reviews of literature searches and makes Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes and procedures recommendations for improvement.
    6. Acts as a liaison between Principal Investigators (PIs), study sponsors and applicable external agencies.
    7. Participates in meetings and/or conferences related to research studies.
    8. Performs job functions adhering to service principles with customer service focus of innovation, service excellence and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to our patients, families, co-workers and others.

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
    2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in behavioral program or research study administration required, to include, at least 1 year as Behavioral Research Associate.
    3. Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral research principles.
    4. Strong oral and written communication with ability to work and communicate with diverse populations.
    5. Proven ability to make basic analysis and interpretation of data.
    6. Strong time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
    7. Possess professional demeanor and ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
    8. Experience and knowledge of word processing, database, spreadsheet and presentation applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    9. Keen customer service skills.
