Overview

Assists investigators and/or other study staff in the implementation, coordination and conduct of behavioral research activities.

Responsibilities

  • Performs administrative tasks to support investigators and research team (managing data, monitoring billing reimbursements, etc.)
  • Provides assistance in the conduct of study committees and site visits
  • Interacts with other study sites to coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, etc.
  • Assists with preparation of regulatory documents required by sponsor and/or regulatory agencies
  • Prepares supplies for study visits (consent forms, data collection forms, etc.)
  • Assists in the collection of data as appropriately trained/authorized
  • Assists with data entry and management/updates of a database
  • Identifies and recruits potential participants and screens them for eligibility according to the research protocol/plan.
  • Assists in explaining the study and obtaining consent from the participant and family.
  • May make home visit to obtain consent, deliver forms
  • May escort participants to ancillary testing, procedures, etc.
  • Assists staff in preparing reimbursement checks to patients and staff
  • Respects participant rights and protects the confidentiality of participant and center information
  • Performs job functions adhering to service principles with customer service focus of innovation, service excellence, and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to our patients, families, co-workers, and others.
  • All activities conducted with a high level of supervision.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or psychology.
  • Prior experience in working with human subjects and research study administration preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
